Abstract: A system and method of evaluating a vehicle differential assembly (28, 30, 34) on a vehicle (22) includes positioning the vehicle (22) on a test stand (24) that includes rollers (58, 60) for receiving wheel assemblies (41a, 41b, 43a, 43b) of the vehicle (22), rotating a first wheel assembly of the vehicle (22) on the test stand (24) to impart a differential rotation of the first wheel assembly relative to a second wheel assembly of the vehicle, and evaluating a differential assembly (28, 30, 34) disposed between the first wheel assembly and the second wheel assembly. The second wheel assembly (43a, 43b) may be opposed on the opposite side of the vehicle from the first wheel assembly (41a, 41b), and the rotating may include rotating the first wheel assembly (41a, 41b) at a different rotational speed than the second wheel assembly (43a, 43b).
