Abstract: A system and method for evaluating sustainability of artificial intelligence systems using defined criteria and indicators is disclosed. The system comprises a data acquisition unit configured to collect multi-dimensional operational and environmental data from one or more artificial intelligence systems, a storage unit configured to store predefined sustainability criteria and corresponding indicators, and a processing unit configured to preprocess the collected data and compute a plurality of sustainability indicators. The processing unit further aggregates the indicators using adaptive weighting factors to generate hierarchical sustainability scores and a composite sustainability index representing overall system sustainability. A communication interface is provided to transmit evaluation results to external systems, and a feedback control unit is configured to adjust operational parameters of the artificial intelligence systems to improve sustainability performance.
