Abstract: A system (102) and a method (600) for evaluating affordable housing projects are disclosed. The system comprises a controller and a memory operatively coupled with the controller; the controller may receive project-related data including location data, housing parameters, environmental parameters, social parameters, economic parameters, and resilience-related parameters associated with an affordable housing project. The system further stores sustainability assessment indicators, benchmark values, and scoring criteria for evaluating the project. The received data is validated and analyzed using the sustainability assessment indicators and benchmark values to generate assessment scores corresponding to environmental, social, economic, and resilience-related categories. Based on the generated assessment scores, the system determines a sustainability score and sustainability index for the housing project. The system further generates an assessment output including project performance characteristics, sustainability improvement recommendations, and a certification result, thereby enabling integrated sustainability assessment affordable housing projects.
