MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611078111 A) filed by Delhi Technological University on June 24, 2026, for System And Method For Estimating A State Of Health Of At Least One Battery.

Inventors include Kumar, Deepak; Rizwan, M.; and Panwar, Amrish K..

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The disclosed system (100) includes a data acquisition unit (112) configured to acquire raw time series datasets from a battery. A data pre-processing unit (114) is operatively coupled to the data acquisition unit (112). The data pre-processing unit (114) is configured to pre-process the acquired raw time series datasets by organizing and normalizing the acquired raw time series datasets. A data filtering unit (116) is operatively coupled to the data pre-processing unit (114). The data filtering unit (116) is configured to identify consecutive similar values within the normalized datasets, segment the consecutive similar values into groups, and replace each group with a representative value to improve dataset, while preserving original pattern and transition information. A data learning unit (118) is operatively coupled to the data filtering unit (116), to receive the improved dataset and to learn temporal battery degradation behavior to estimate the SoH of the battery.
