The method (900) further comprises establishing (906) a Packet Data Unit (PDU) session between the UE and the service network entity for transporting service-plane traffic. The method (900) further comprises activating (908) a service bearer for carrying service-plane data between the UE and a Radio Access Network (RAN). The method (900) further comprises routing (910) service data from the UE to the service network entity, which interfaces with a Service-Based Architecture (SBA) of a core network to provide the NAS services.
