Abstract: [075] The present invention relates to a system and method for error-aware quantum computing resource scheduling and workload allocation. The system receives a quantum workload and generates a workload profile comprising qubit requirements, circuit characteristics, connectivity requirements, execution constraints and error sensitivity. A quantum resource monitoring module obtains operating characteristics of a plurality of quantum processing resources, while an error characterization module generates resource- specific error profiles based on gate fidelity, readout error, coherence characteristics, calibration information and historical execution performance. An error-aware scheduling engine determines workload-specific resource suitability scores by combining predicted execution error with resource availability, queue condition, execution duration, priority, cost and compatibility. A workload allocation module selects a suitable quantum processor and, in certain embodiments, a physical qubit subset and circuit-to-qubit mapping for execution. A feedback module receives post-execution information and updates error prediction and scheduling parameters to adapt to changing quantum hardware conditions. The invention thereby provides an adaptive scheduling mechanism capable of improving quantum resource utilization, execution reliability, workload allocation efficiency and scheduling performance across homogeneous or heterogeneous quantum computing environments.
