Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EPHEMERAL CRYPTOGRAPHIC TRUST ESTABLISHMENT IN ZERO-CONFIGURATION PEER-TO-PEER FILE SYNCHRONIZATION NETWORKS A system (100) for zero-configuration peer-to-peer file synchronization is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a cryptographic identity generation module (102) configured to generate an ephemeral public-private cryptographic key pair in volatile memory, a peer discovery and authentication module (104) configured to automatically discover and authenticate peer devices using a cryptographic challenge-response protocol, a secure communication module (106) configured to establish a shared session key for encrypted communication, a synchronization management module (108) configured to securely synchronize files between authenticated peer devices, and a session lifecycle management module (110) configured to remove temporary cryptographic credentials and synchronization artifacts upon session termination. The system enables secure, decentralized, and configuration-free file synchronization while eliminating persistent credential storage, manual device pairing, and dependence on centralized authentication infrastructure.
