MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541026214 A) filed by Tejas Networks Limited on March 21, 2025, for System And Method For Enhancing Mu-Mimo Port Configurations In A Wireless Network.
Inventor includes Sheeba Kumari M.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) and a method (300) for enhancing Multi-User, Multiple Input-Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) port configurations in a wireless network. The system (102) receives transmissions simultaneously by user equipments (UEs) (106-1 to 106-N) through frequency-time resources allocated to the UEs (106-1 to 106-N). The system (102) determines parameters associated with the UEs (106-1 to 106-N) based on the received transmissions. The system (102) analyzes, the determined parameters and generates, based on the analyzed one or more parameters, configuration parameters for DMRS port multiplexing associated with the UEs (106-1 to 106-N). The system (102) signals a selected DMRS structure based on the configuration parameters both in uplink and downlink transmissions, while maintaining port orthogonality during scheduling. The system (102) generates and transmits the selected DMRS structure for data streams.
