The method comprises receiving, by the control unit (106), power data corresponding to a temperature and a state of charge (SOC) level of a power storage unit (102) from a battery management system (BMS) (102a) of the vehicle (100). The method comprises comparing, by the control unit (106), the temperature of the power storage unit (102) with a first threshold temperature. The method comprises comparing, by the control unit (106), the SOC level of the power storage unit (102) with a threshold SOC level. The method comprises disabling, by the control unit (106), a performance mode of the vehicle (100).
