The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A method for dynamically adaptive synchronization mechanism includes initiating an acquisition of a lock by a lock contender among one or more lock contenders based on contention. The acquiring of the lock indicates exclusive access to a shared resource. The method includes computing at least one of an elapsed time since the lock was acquired and a remaining time until the lock is released in response to detecting that the lock is busy. The busy lock indicates that the lock is acquired by at least one other lock contender from among the one or more lock contenders. The method includes identifying a type of lock contender based on determining whether the lock contender is context-switchable. The type of lock contender corresponds to a predefined set of types. The method further includes transitioning the lock contender to a selected one of a context-switching mode, a busy-spinning mode, and a low-power mode.
