The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) for duration-based presence tracking within a session comprises a wearable device (102) with a biometric sensor (104), wireless transceiver (106), and secure storage (108) holding an encrypted biometric template and a coupled gateway device (110) featuring a transceiver (112), processor (114), and confidence engine (116). At session start, the gateway broadcasts a session token and transmits periodic ping signals. The wearable performs on-device biometric matching and transmits a signed authentication flag containing a match result, hardware identifier, and timestamp, establishing a three-tier binding between biometric identity, device identity, and the session token. Evaluating response parameters, the confidence engine (116) assigns a confidence level and dynamically adjusts ping intervals. Finally, the gateway computes an authenticated presence duration and transmits a signed attendance record to a cloud server (118). (FIG. 1)
