Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISCONNECTING A CHARGER-PIN AND A DEVICE System (100) and method for disconnecting a charger-pin (01) and a device (02) prevents overcharging of batteries of devices (02) by automatically ejecting the charger-pin (01) or the device (02) once a predefined charge limit is reached, overcomes conventional limitation overcharging and manual disconnection. The system (100) includes a control-unit (10), a rotating-unit (20), a lead-screw (30), a linear-movable-element (40), an ejector-frame (50), a ram (60) and a housing (70). The control-unit (10) is defined to receive and monitor real-time battery-status of the device (02) and compares with the battery-limit. The control-unit (10) actuates the rotating-unit (20) to disconnect either the male-connector (01a) from the corresponding female-connector (02a) or the female-connector (02a) from the corresponding male-connector (01a) based on the configuration of the housing (70).
