A deterministic whitelist verification engine (108) compares extracted service set identifier (SSID) and basic service set identifier (BSSID) pairs with a stored whitelist to identify Type-1 rogue access points. For verified identities, a feature extraction unit (110) generates statistical features including mean RSSI, variance, skewness, and kurtosis. A kernel-based anomaly detection engine (112) employing a One-Class Support Vector Machine with a radial basis function kernel identifies adaptive signal cloning attacks, and a verdict and quarantine unit (114) prevents user association with detected rogue access points.
