The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A system (100) for detecting fake news includes a graphics processing unit (102) executing a linguistic anomaly detection circuit (106), a source credibility scoring circuit (108), and a fact drift detection circuit (110) as concurrent processing threads, coupled to a hardware processor (104). The linguistic anomaly detection circuit (106) analyses a news item to generate a linguistic anomaly score identifying emotional manipulation or deceptive language patterns. The source credibility scoring circuit (108) computes a dynamic source trust score from verified and unverified publication records. The fact drift detection circuit (110) validates factual consistency by comparing named entity attribute values against historical values from a temporal database, generating a fact drift signal. A decision fusion processor (112) produces a fake news classification output as a composite credibility record, modulating classification weights of the linguistic anomaly score and source trust score based on the fact drift signal.
