Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEPENDENCY-AWARE DETERMINISTIC RECONFIGURATION OF VERSIONED TEMPORAL EMERGENCY- TRAFFIC RESERVATION STATES IN A DISTRIBUTED ROADSIDE-UNIT MESH Provided herein is a method for coordinating emergency-vehicle traffic-signal reservations across interconnected intersections using a distributed mesh of roadside units (100A, 100B, 100C). Each roadside unit comprises a processing module (110), a vehicle-to-infrastructure communication interface (120), a mesh communication interface (130), a reservation-state storage module (140), and a physical interface (150) coupled to a traffic-signal controller (160). The roadside units receive authenticated kinematic beacons from an emergency vehicle (200) and maintain a versioned temporal reservation dependency graph (300). Upon detecting a trajectory deviation, the roadside unit identifies an affected downstream reservation subgraph (320), partitions the graph into a preserved subgraph (330) and the affected subgraph, selectively reconfigures only the affected subgraph, and generates a successor reservation-state version (350) while retaining unaffected reservations.
