Inventors include Ms. Stella J; Sudhakar D; Dr. Subhashini R; and Sujatha S G.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: A system and method for demand planning and distribution management are disclosed. The system comprises data acquisition interfaces, a memory device, a communication interface, a preprocessing processor, a demand forecasting processor, an inventory-state processor, an allocation processor, a replenishment processor, a distribution processor, a constraint-processing processor, a monitoring processor, and a control processor. The preprocessing processor normalizes demand-related data received from multiple sources. The demand forecasting processor generates product-location-specific demand forecasts, while the inventory-state processor determines available inventory based on differentiated inventory states, pending orders, and committed quantities. The allocation processor determines allocation quantities and deficits, and the replenishment processor determines replenishment quantities based on supply conditions and projected demand. The distribution processor generates distribution instructions subject to distribution constraints. The monitoring processor detects deviations in updated operational data and initiates corresponding forecast, allocation, or replenishment updates.
