Abstract: The invention discloses a processor-implemented system for detecting manipulated facial images. An interface obtains an image and a preprocessing engine generates aligned multi-scale facial data. A CNCF engine jointly models fine-grained texture and coarse-grained structure. A topology constructor forms a simplicial complex for a binarized simplicial convolutional branch, while a vision-transformer branch captures global contextual dependencies. A fusion engine cross-attends and adaptively gates the branch representations, and a classifier generates an authenticity label, confidence value, and optional localization map. An RBBMO controller selects hyperparameters using detection quality, inference latency, and model complexity. The architecture provides efficient and robust deepfake detection for forensic, surveillance, content-authentication, server, and edge-device applications.
