Inventor includes Rahul Eknath Andhale.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DASHCAM BASED REAL-TIME DETECTION, ALERTS AND LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT OF ROAD DEFECTS Disclosed are a system (100) and method (200) for real-time detection and lifecycle management of road surface defects using dashcam-integrated artificial intelligence. A dashcam device (104) mounted on a vehicle (102) captures continuous video of the road surface, which is analyzed by a vehicle processor (108) to detect defects such as potholes. Each defect is assigned a Unique Pothole Pin (UPP) comprising a time stamp, geolocation from a GPS sensor (106), and severity classification, and is stored locally and transmitted to a server (110). Vehicles approaching an active UPP receive predictive alerts via a user interface (112), including infotainment display, haptic, or audio output. The vehicle processor (108) uses subsequent dashcam and accelerometer data to validate repairs and deactivate resolved UPPs. Figure 1 will be the reference.
