Abstract: The present disclosure relates to system (100) for dampening collision impact of a vehicle. The system (100) receives one or more lead vehicle parameters from the sensor reader module (104). The system (100) determines that a collision probability of the vehicle with one or more lead vehicles is beyond a predefined first threshold value based on the one or more lead vehicle parameters. The system (100) determines if one or more threshold parameters exceed a predefined second threshold value when the collision probability is beyond the predefined first threshold value. The system (100) when the one or more threshold parameters exceed the predefined second threshold value, determines a controlled torque to be applied to the vehicle to minimize the collision probability. The system (100) dampens the impact of collision of the vehicle by applying the controlled torque to a motor (112) of the vehicle.
