MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641125727 A) filed by Flipkart Internet Private Limited on October 22, 2026, for System And Method For Cryptographically Secured Geolocation Tracking In Zero-Trust Logistics.

Inventor includes Jain, Vidyesh Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A secure logistics tracking system (100) comprises a blind relay server (102) coupled to a network (104) and configured to receive, store, and route encrypted supply chain data, and a client terminal (106) coupled to the blind relay server (102) via the network (104). The client terminal (106) comprises a processor (108), a volatile memory (110) configured to transiently hold an ephemeral symmetric encryption key (112), a key derivation module (114), an authentication module (118) having a first authentication gate (120) and a second authentication gate (122), an encryption module (124), a position-determining unit (130), and a network interface (132). The authentication module (118) performs bimodal decoupled authentication. The encryption module (124) aggregates geolocation data (126) and asset-identifying metadata (128) into a single plaintext payload and encrypts the payload using an authenticated encryption scheme to generate a ciphertext and an integrity tag.
