Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CROSS-APPLICATION CONTEXT INTELLIGENCE AT AN OPERATING SYSTEM LAYER A system for cross- application context intelligence at an operating system layer comprises a processor (12), a volatile memory (14), a background telemetry daemon (100) executing at the operating system layer and registering event listeners on operating system subsystems to capture system telemetry, a differential privacy event normalizer (102) configured to strip user payloads and personal identifiers from the captured system telemetry and to transform the stripped system telemetry, by injection of noise, into fixed-length semantic intent tokens prior to writing to any shared memory space, a dynamic temporal intent graph engine (200) maintaining, in the volatile memory (14), a graph (201) in which nodes represent the semantic intent tokens and edges represent temporal co-occurrence relations, the engine (200) updating edge weights according to a temporal decay function and pruning an edge when a weight falls below a threshold, and a probabilistic intent inference engine (300) configured to compute, from a topology of the graph (201), an intent vector indicating predicted user objectives and a confidence score.
