Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CPU AND MEMORY RESOURCE OPTIMIZATION USING SIMULATION- BASED ANALYSIS The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for efficient CPU and memory resource utilization optimization in cloud computing environments. The system (100) comprises a user input layer (110) for receiving configuration parameters, a cloud simulation engine (120) including a datacenter module (122), hosts (124), virtual machine provisioning module (126) for creating virtual machines (128), a cloudlet generation module (130), and a broker module (132) for task allocation. A data processing layer (140) computes CPU and memory utilization metrics and classifies each virtual machine into Overloaded, Underutilized, or Balanced states using threshold-based analysis. A visualization layer (150) renders an interactive dashboard (152) displaying CPU utilization graphs, memory allocation charts, cloudlet execution timelines, and comparative performance analysis. The system is characterized in that it integrates simulation-based resource analysis with threshold-based VM classification and interactive visualization, achieving improvements including 22.42% makespan reduction, and 40% energy cost reduction.
