The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and method (400) for controlling the power take-off (PTO) of a vehicle and an assembly method (500) thereof. The system (100) includes an actuating member (102) and a selection mechanism (200) operatively coupled to the actuating member (102), a PTO clutch, and a transmission gear train (20). The actuating member selectively engages the PTO clutch to enable standard PTO operation or engages the gear train for at least one variable-speed PTO mode, including multi-speed PTO and ground-speed PTO. The system (100) ensures disengagement of the PTO clutch before shifting to variable speed modes, preventing transmission damage. A positive locking mechanism enhances stability by mitigating vibrations and unintended movements. By integrating control functions, the system reduces operator fatigue, simplifies operation, and improves ease of use in vehicle PTO management. Fig. 1
