Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (200) and a method (800) for controlling PDU (210). The method (800) includes detecting (802) whether a control interface is enabled or disabled. When the control interface is enabled, the method (800) includes activating (804A) PDU (210) and simultaneously activating first switching components (214) to turn ON first peripherals. When the control interface is disabled, the method (800) includes detecting (804B) whether vehicle (10) is in at least one of: a charging state or in connection with a server. If either condition is met, the method (800) includes activating (806A) PDU (210) to turn ON second peripherals. If neither condition is met, the method (800) includes preventing (806B) activation of PDU (210). The controlled power distribution prevents unnecessary power consumption, enhances safety, and enables efficient power management by selectively activating first and second peripherals based on predefined conditions.
