Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Continuous Patient Vital-Sign Monitoring and Alert Generation The invention described herein relates to a system and method for continuous tracking of patient vital signs and generation of alerts. The invention obtains multimodal physiological data from wearable devices, bedside patient monitors, physiological sensors, smart healthcare equipment, and remote patient monitoring platforms. The acquired data are validated by means of physiological signal quality assessment, temporally synchronised and adaptively fused according to a dynamic reliability scoring. The detection of abnormal physiological trends and the prediction of patient health risk with associated confidence levels are performed thru patient-specific baseline calibration and adaptive health deterioration prediction. An intelligent alert prioritisation engine generates clinically relevant alerts based on the severity of detected physiological abnormalities, and an explainable clinical analytics module generates evidence- supported health assessments and recommended clinical actions. Continuous validation of monitoring results is improving long-term analytical reliability. The invention improves the accuracy of monitoring, reduces false alarms, enables early detection of patient deterioration, facilitates timely clinical intervention, and increases the reliability and efficiency of continuous patient monitoring.
