Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Context-Aware Human–Computer Interface Personalization A system and method for personalising context-aware human- computer interface is disclosed. The system senses environmental, device, application-state, interaction and computing-resource parameters and temporally fuses the parameters to form a multi-dimensional context state. The context stability envelope defines whether the context satisfies a persistence and hysteresis condition to trigger an interface transformation. An interaction-friction estimation module estimates interaction friction of the current interface and predicts friction of a plurality of candidate interface configurations. A hardware-aware transformation controller utilises the predicted interaction friction and device-resource conditions to evaluate the candidate configurations and select a suitable interface transformation. A differential rendering module identifies affected interface components and selectively applies a rendering delta, preserving unaffected components. A closed loop verification module verifies the performance of the interaction after transformation and causes the system to preserve, alter or reversibly restore the configuration of the interface. This allows for stable, resource-aware and feedback-controlled interface personalisation, as well as reducing redundant rendering operations and interaction overhead.
