Abstract: The present invention provides a context-aware commerce decision support system comprising an input interface, memory device, context acquisition unit, context processing unit, commerce data processing unit, decision processing unit, and output interface. The system acquires user-context and commerce data, generates a machine-processable context record, associates the context record with product, pricing, inventory, offer, and transaction data, and generates and evaluates candidate commerce actions according to context-dependent decision criteria. A selected commerce action is transmitted to an electronically connected user device. The system further detects changes in user context or commerce conditions and re-evaluates the candidate commerce actions using an updated context record, with decision trace and post-decision interaction data stored for subsequent processing.
