Abstract: A system and method for consent-scoped multi-agent tax computation using federated Digital Public Infrastructure is disclosed. The system comprises (FIG. 1) a channel federation layer that interfaces with third-party application partners through standardised APIs without exposing raw financial data; an identity and consent hub comprising a consent orchestrator implementing Account Aggregator consent artifacts as runtime computational gates enforced by a purpose binding engine (FIG. 6); an ingestion layer with connectors to NPCI payment networks, GST IRP, securities depositories, insurance repositories, HRMS, and Account Aggregator networks; an agent orchestrator (FIG. 3) with seven domain-specific AI agents (payments, payroll/HRA, securities, insurance, GST, filing, dispute), each consent-scope-bounded; a policy and computation engine (FIG. 5) with versioned, deterministic, executable tax rules; and a cryptographically-sealed evidence vault with computation lineage. The architecture federates computation to a sovereign neutral platform, TPAs serving as pure user experience channels receiving only computation summaries and explainability strings (FIG. 2). Consent flow and DPDP Act 2023 compliance is illustrated in FIG. 4. The system implements DPDP Act 2023 compliance through architectural enforcement including runtime purpose binding, cascading revocation, and proof-of-deletion.
