The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for confidence-controlled segregation of electronic waste. The system includes an electronic-waste receiver, an image acquisition system, an embedded processing and control system, an artificial intelligence classification module, a confidence evaluation module, a compartment state identification module, a destination selection module, an electromechanical segregation system, compartment state monitoring sensors, and a disposal record generation module. The image acquisition system acquires image data of the electronic-waste product, whereby the artificial intelligence classification module classifies the electronic-waste type and produces a classification confidence. The destination selection module selects a destination compartment based upon the type of electronic waste classified, the confidence of the classification, compartment availability, and safety status of the compartment. The rotary positioning mechanism aligns the compartment, and the servo-based discharge flap drops the item into the compartment after the alignment. Fig. 3
