The processing unit (115) preprocesses monitored parameters, generates a hardware state vector, computes a dynamic compute budget, and reconfigures a machine learning model by adjusting numerical precision, network depth, channel width, and switching model variants. The system (100) supports dynamic precision switching, runtime layer skipping, channel pruning, and hysteresis-based control. The method (200) includes monitoring, preprocessing, analysis, compression, and execution steps to regulate power consumption, thermal generation, and inference latency, thereby enabling stable and energy-efficient artificial intelligence operation on resource-constrained devices.
