MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621084885 A) filed by Persistent Systems Limited on July 10, 2026, for System And Method For Computational Context Fingerprinting, State Identification, Verification, And Federated Synchronization.

Inventors include Mr. Nitish Shrivastava; and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for computational context fingerprinting, state identification, verification, inheritance, replay validation, drift detection, and federated synchronization of contextual intelligence are disclosed. A ContextDNA Engine (600) receives one or more Context Capsules (690) and includes a StateHarvester (610) configured to harvest computational state domains including source, schema, workflow, prompt, model, tool, validation, evidence, policy, governance, lineage, relationship, materialization, and version states. A SignatureStrata Builder (620) generates signature strata for the harvested state domains, and a HashWeave Engine (630) deterministically normalizes, orders, and combines the signature strata to generate a ContextDNA signature representing the complete computational state. A LineageLock (640) preserves parent-child computational lineage, an EquivalenceChecker (650) verifies computational equivalence, a DriftSentinel (660) detects computational drift, and a FederationPassport (670) enables synchronization across Context Registries (680). The generated ContextDNA enables deterministic verification, governance, replay validation, auditability, traceability, and secure federated exchange of contextual intelligence across distributed agentic computing systems.
