MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621054541 A) filed by Sage University on April 29, 2026, for System And Method For Combustible Gas Leakage Detection And Cylinder Usage Monitoring.

Inventors include Dr. Prashant Jain; Shubham Jadam; Dr. Lalji Prasad; and Aayush Patwa.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A system (100) for combustible gas leakage detection and cylinder usage monitoring includes a gas concentration sensing circuit (102) configured to output a gas concentration signal, a load cell weight sensing circuit (104) operatively coupled to a signal amplifier circuit (106) configured to output a digitized weight value, a dual-input threshold gate circuit (108), and an alert synchronization circuit (110). The dual-input threshold gate circuit (108) applies a gas concentration threshold and a weight deviation threshold to the gas concentration signal and the digitized weight value respectively and outputs a binary verdict signal upon concurrent breach of both the gas concentration threshold and the weight deviation threshold. The alert synchronization circuit (110) activates a local alert circuit (112) and a remote cloud platform (114) within a single event-trigger cycle and delivers a joint anomaly confirmation identifying a unified leakage event to the remote cloud platform (114).
