MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641104681 A) filed by Psm Adaptive Innovations Private Limited on August 31, 2026, for System And Method For Cognitive-State-Gated Adaptive Learning Orchestration.
Inventor includes Palaparthi Gopichand.
The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: A cognitive-state-gated adaptive learning apparatus acquires camera-derived biometric samples and timestamped interface-event samples using a dual-mode input acquisition module (100). A signal preprocessing module (130) normalizes, filters and temporally aligns the samples, and an input validation and quality-check module (150) rejects or down-weights samples failing a quality criterion. A cognitive readiness score computation engine (200) computes a score from a quality-qualified timestamped multimodal stream. A state-gate engine (300) applies a threshold comparator (320) and hysteresis timer (330) to generate a machine control signal that enables or inhibits content retrieval, display rendering and learner-model writes. When enabled, a memory-encoding and review-scheduling engine (400) stores a CRS- at-encoding value (410), assigns a persistence classification, and determines a subsequent review time. Camera-frame processing may be performed locally without transmitting raw frames. The Figure associated with Abstract is Fig. 1.
