MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511013460 A) filed by Pankhtech India Private Limited on February 17, 2025, for System And Method For Closed-Loop Bimodal Neuromodulation Based On Physiological Parameters.

Inventors include Bhavya Madan; and Ria Rustagi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and a method for closed-loop bimodal neuromodulation based on a plurality of physiological parameters. The system comprises a wearable device (100) to be worn on a head. The wearable device (100) integrates electrodes (102) positioned at predefined anatomical landmarks to deliver electrical stimulation, audio transducers (104) aligned with ears to deliver auditory stimulation, physiological sensing elements (106) to acquire physiological signals, detection units (108) to capture motion data, and control units (110) to execute signal conditioning, motion artifact suppression, signal quality evaluation using machine learning, and feature extraction to compute the plurality of physiological parameters. The system performs temporal–spatial feature modelling, cognitive state estimation using machine learning, user feedback integration, and adaptive modulation of electrical and auditory stimulation parameters. The system continuously monitors physiological responses and dynamically adjusts stimulation to guide a user toward a selected cognitive state. FIG. 1
