Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and a method (300) for changing a position of a front panel (140) of an indoor unit (200) of an air conditioner. The system (100) includes a frame (110). A motor (120) is disposed on the frame (110) and adapted to rotate a spindle (120-A) of the motor (120). A driving link (130) rotatably engages with the spindle (120-A), and also with the front panel (140). A driven rod (160) is swivelably disposed on the frame (110). A plurality of links (150) disposed on a back side (P) of the front panel (140), wherein each of the link (150) is adapted to engage with the driven rod (160) and support the front panel (140) during rotation of the spindle (120-A). The system (100) helps to adapt the front panel (140) from a closed position (C) to an open position (O) effortlessly.
