Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAUSAL VERIFICATION OF CYBERATTACKS AND PRE-EXECUTION NETWORK ISOLATION The present invention discloses a system and method for cyber attack prediction and pre-execution network isolation. The host event collector collects process, file and connection events, whereas the network event collector collects connection and access control events. The execution gate blocks and retains the pending process operation. The one or more processors build a chronological dependency graph between an untrusted input, the process, the pending operation, and a reachable target resource on the network. It is determined whether removing an event corresponding to the untrusted input from the duplicate of the dependency graph interrupts the dependency chain leading to the target resource. If the chain gets interrupted, the network controller establishes the access control rule to block the communications edge that was needed for the pending operation. Once the rule is in effect, the execution gate frees the pending operation. Other communications are not blocked.
