Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Causal Environmental-Health Risk Attribution and Urban Lake Remediation Prioritization The current invention pertains to a system and methodology of causal environmental health risks identification and prioritizing urban lakes for remediation. The system consists of a multi-source environmental data acquisition module that is adapted to collect environmental data, hydrological data, sewage infrastructure data, drainage data, land use data, geospatial data, demographics data, and public health data; a data harmonization module; an ontology mapping module; a geospatial causation knowledge graph building module; a causation inference module; a remediation prioritization module; a counterfactual simulation module; and an output module. The system builds a geospatial causation knowledge graph of environmental data and identifies quantifiable causation links among pollution, drainage, sewage infrastructure, degraded lakes, and public health.
