Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system for candidate-controlled credential verification with employer-initiated access and time-bound consent tokens. The system includes a first computing device enabling a user to submit credential data and provide authorization parameters, and a second computing device configured to initiate access requests. A cloud server includes a multi-source verification module for validating credential data using external sources and generating verifiable credentials, a data management module employing dual-layer storage for secure handling of credential data, and a blockchain audit module for recording tamper-resistant verification events without storing personally identifiable information. A consent management module intercepts access requests and facilitates user authorization, while an access control module generates and validates time- bound access tokens, enforces revocation using a distributed blacklist, and provides controlled access to verified credential data. The system enables candidate-controlled authorization, time-bound and revocable access, and reuse of verified credential data. Fig. 1.
