Abstract: ABSTRACT “System and Method for Biochar Production from Indigenous Tree Leaves for Soil Fertility Enhancement” The present invention relates to a biochar production and soil enhancement system (100) and method utilizing indigenous tree leaves (101) for improving soil fertility and plant growth. The system comprises a cleaning and drying unit (102), a pyrolysis chamber (103), a heating source (103d), a temperature or control sensor (104), a heating and control module (105), an exhaust gas outlet (106), a crushing and sieving unit (108), and a mixing unit (111). Indigenous leaf biomass (103a) is subjected to controlled pyrolysis under limited oxygen conditions at temperatures between 300°C and 500°C to produce raw biochar (107), which is processed into biochar powder (109). The biochar powder (109) is mixed with agricultural soil (110) to obtain biochar-amended soil (113) that enhances moisture retention, nutrient availability, microbial activity, seed germination, and plant growth (114). The invention provides sustainable biomass utilization, carbon sequestration, and environmentally beneficial soil fertility enhancement.
