MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075251 A) filed by Rajeev Kumar Pandit on June 17, 2026, for System And Method For Bidirectional Co-Optimization Of Centrifugal Pump Geometry And Real-Time Operation.
Inventor includes Rajeev Kumar Pandit.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: A closed-loop co-optimization system (100), method (300), and digital twin system (800) for centrifugal pump design and operation are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a multi-physics simulation module (110), a dataset generation module (120), a machine-learning surrogate model (130), a geometry optimization module (140), a real-time operational control module (150), a sensors and feedback interface (160), and a centrifugal pump (200). Operational feedback from the centrifugal pump (200) is supplied to the geometry optimization module (140) and the real-time operational control module (150), while geometry optimization outputs influence control decisions. The method (300) includes training the surrogate model (130), updating a digital representation of pump geometry, predicting pump performance and cavitation conditions, and generating control actions. The digital twin system (800) maintains a digital geometry representation (810) and a digital twin surrogate model (820) for continuous optimization of pump operation.
