Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an autonomous aquatic system (100) and method (300) for waste collection, biological protection, and onboard fuel generation. The system (100) employs one or more sensors (110), including infrared cameras and sonar, to distinguish plastic waste from biological organisms in water bodies. Detected organisms are safely redirected using acoustic signals, reverse-thrust propulsion, and sorting gates, while waste is continuously collected. An AI-based system (100) classifies and processes collected plastic through sorting, preprocessing, and pyrolysis in an oxygen-limited reactor to produce synthetic oil and syngas. The syngas supports reactor heating, while synthetic oil powers system operations. Solar energy harvesting and thermal energy storage ensure continuous operation under low-light conditions. The system (100) enables autonomous, eco-friendly waste remediation and energy recovery from marine plastic pollution.
