MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611073815 A) filed by Bhavuk Chawla on June 14, 2026, for System And Method For Autonomous Agent Negotiation, Progressive Opportunity Discovery, And Offline Trust Exchange.
Inventor includes Bhavuk Chawla.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer implemented system and method for secure proximity based autonomous agent negotiation, progressive opportunity discovery, and offline trust exchange. Each participant is associated with a portable artificial intelligence identity agent maintaining a digital twin comprising identity attributes, professional attributes, declared and inferred intent, trust credentials, privacy preferences, and interaction history. When agents come into proximity, they exchange temporary rotating tokens and initiate encrypted, policy filtered metadata negotiation. Local scoring functions compute opportunity and trust scores, and a progressive disclosure state machine reveals information in staged levels controlled by thresholds, mutual consent, and venue policy. The system incorporates gamified engagement, swarm discovery of indirect opportunities, and dynamic credential interfaces for badges, mobile devices, or wearables. Offline operation is enabled through Bluetooth, NFC, Ultra Wideband, WiFi Direct, QR codes, and mesh networking. The invention improves proximity based discovery by reducing unnecessary data exchange, preventing premature identity disclosure, and enabling offline trust verification.
