Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Automated Wound Condition Assessment and Healing-Progress Tracking The present disclosure concerns a system and method for automated wound condition assessment and healing-progress tracking utilising multi-modal physiological sensing and adaptive tissue-state reconstruction. The system collects wound data from imaging devices, thermal sensors, depth sensing units, moisture sensors, wearable physiological sensors and electronic health records. The collected data are synchronised, validated by a wound data reliability assessment module, and processed to reconstruct dynamic tissue-state characteristics by means of physiological calibration. A 3D wound model and a personalised digital tissue-evolution twin are constructed to monitor tissue regeneration and healing progress in real time. The system is able to detect localised healing deviations, predict individual healing trajectories, estimate wound assessment confidence and autonomously refine wound evaluations using updated physiological information. The integrated technical architecture enables reliable, explainable and adaptive wound condition assessment, improving monitoring accuracy, early detection of abnormal healing and clinical decision support.
