MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641070067 A) filed by Keerthishree B T; and Dr. Pushpa Ravikumar on June 04, 2026, for System And Method For Automated Ovarian Cancer Detection And Tumor Microenvironment Analysis Using Enhanced Vision Transformer Architecture.
Inventors include Keerthishree B T; and Dr. Pushpa Ravikumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: System and method for automated ovarian cancer detection and tumor microenvironment analysis using enhanced vision transformer architecture is the proposed invention. An adaptive multi-scale contextual transformer system for automated ovarian cancer diagnosis and tumor microenvironment characterization from histopathological whole-slide images is disclosed. The invention utilizes adaptive tissue importance mapping, contextual patch generation, multi-domain tissue enhancement, hierarchical transformer-based contextual feature fusion, and immune-cell aware attention refinement for intelligent pathology analysis. The proposed system dynamically prioritizes biologically significant tissue regions and computes prognostic tumor aggressiveness prediction indices using immune-cell interaction distributions and necrotic tissue quantification. The invention further generates explainable diagnostic attention visualization maps for computer-assisted pathology applications and improves contextual interpretability, diagnostic robustness, and automated ovarian cancer analysis efficiency.
