Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED GROUNDWATER MEASUREMENT AND PREDICTIVE FORECASTING A groundwater monitoring and forecasting system is disclosed. The system comprises a field device adapted to an existing cable-based manual groundwater measurement device and configured to generate a digital depth value corresponding to mechanical cable displacement. A communication module operatively coupled to the field device transmits the digital depth value as a structured data packet. A mobile application executed on a mobile computing device receives the structured data packet, associates the depth value with contextual metadata, and stores the associated data locally and remotely. A cloud database persists groundwater measurement records received from the mobile application. An Artificial Intelligence (AI) prediction engine ingests the groundwater measurement records together with external meteorological data, generates temporal features, and computes future groundwater level predictions. A forecast dashboard presents predicted groundwater levels, wherein the system operates as an integrated pipeline from field measurement through predictive output.
