Inventors include Sureka S; Vishva S A; and Harish Y.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for automated examination assessment of handwritten examination scripts using optical character recognition, adaptive answer segmentation, adaptive fusion scoring, contextual coherence evaluation, knowledge-based validation, and consistency analysis for generation of structured and verifiable examination assessment outputs. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having a processor (104) and a memory (106) for storing one or more instructions executable by the processor (104). The computing device (102) is communicatively coupled to a database (138) and one or more user devices (140) via a network (136). The processor (104) is configured to execute plurality of modules (108) for acquisition, processing, evaluation, verification, and dissemination of examination assessment results. The system (100) is configured to evaluate semantic relevance, keyword coverage, and contextual coherence associated with examination responses. The system (100) is further configured for validating conceptual relationships represented within examination responses using knowledge-based validation techniques.
