MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611089576 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Niet on July 23, 2026, for System And Method For Automated Esg Accounting With Adaptive Decision-Support.

Inventors include Divya Chopra; Dr. Nishtha Ujjawal; and Priya Bharti.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented system (100) and method for automated environmental, social and governance accounting with adaptive decision-support is disclosed. The system comprises a multi-source data ingestion engine (110) that normalizes heterogeneous sustainability data, an ESG accounting processor (120) that allocates costs across environmental, social and governance dimensions using configurable algorithms and maintains an integrated sustainability ledger (128), an adaptive decision-support engine (130) that generates predictive sustainability scores, simulates strategic scenarios and produces ranked decision recommendations, a sustainability performance dashboard (140) that visualizes KPIs and generates compliance reports, and a feedback and calibration module (150) that detects prediction variance and recalibrates machine-learning models. The system is characterized in that the ESG accounting processor and the adaptive decision- support engine operate in a closed-loop configuration enabling real-time propagation of accounting updates into decision recommendations and continuous model recalibration without manual intervention.
