Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: System And Method For Automated Error-Proofing And Bolt Tightening On A Workpiece In Assembly Process The present invention relates to a system and method for automated error-proofing and bolt tightening of a workpiece in an assembly process. The system includes a conveyor belt (301) configured to transport the workpiece (203) through multiple stations (1-13), with a scanner (202) that retrieves model-specific data such as the total number of bolts and predetermined torque for each bolt. At each station, a torque wrench (206) applies the required torque to the bolts, and a control unit (312) monitors the tightening process using position sensors (304, 306, 308). The system ensures traceability by logging torque values and generating alerts or errors based on successful or failed tightening. In case of failure, the conveyor stops and resumes once all bolts are tightened correctly. (Fig. 3)
