MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611063328 A) filed by Sharda University on May 19, 2026, for System And Method For Analyzing And Predicting Temperature Variations Associated With Vegetation Density.
Inventors include Muzaffar, Mohammad Shaazan; Singh, Utkarsh; Hamied, Zahabiya; Bhushan, Bharat; and Tiwari, Shivam.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A system (102) and a method (200) for analyzing and predicting temperature variations associated with vegetation density are disclosed. The system (102) includes a processor (104) and a memory (106) storing instructions which, when executed, cause the system (102) to receive satellite image data and corresponding temperature data associated with a geographical region, extract vegetation density data using Hue, Saturation, and Value parameters, map the vegetation density data with the corresponding temperature data to generate a correlated dataset, and predict temperature values using a predefined model. The method (200) includes receiving (202) satellite image data and corresponding temperature data, extracting (204) vegetation density data, mapping (206) the vegetation density data with the corresponding temperature data, and predicting (208) temperature values based on the correlated dataset. The system (102) and the method (200) enable integrated analysis and prediction of temperature variations based on vegetation density derived from satellite imagery.
