MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511038727 A) filed by Indian Council Of Agricultural Research on April 22, 2025, for System And Method For Analysis And Visualization Of Next-Generation Sequencing (ngs) Data.

Inventors include Sona Charles; and Thotten Elampilay Sheeja.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for processing and visualizing genomic data. The system (100) includes a processing engine (108) comprising a UI dispatcher (114), a buffered stream protocol (118), a transformation module (120), and a visualization control module (122). The system (100) receives tabular genomic data through file ingestion ports using the buffered stream protocol (118) and validates the genomic data via a pre-execution metadata audit to identify schema mismatches. The transformation module (120) transforms the validated genomic data into memory-optimized S4 bioconductor objects. The visualization control module (122) generates interactive visualizations based on the bioconductor objects, which are subsequently rendered on a user interface (130). The system (100) removes the bioconductor objects from a memory (104) to maintain stateless persistence. Therefore, the system (100) enables zero-code gigabyte-scale genomic processing, prevents fatal memory allocation errors, and provides a unified end-to-end analytical workflow for high-throughput sequencing research.
